Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon is a suburb of New York City, immediately to the north of the Bronx. Historic and thriving Mount Vernon is home to a diverse set of neighborhoods, eclectic culture and one of the easiest commutes in Westchester to NYC. Metro North trains from Mount Vernon to Grand Central Station take about 27 minutes. The main shopping streets host a variety of shops and gourmet restaurants. The Cross County Shopping Mall is just a short drive away. Mount Vernon also houses Willson’s Woods Park, which houses a pool and waterpark, and is a popular local attraction that also offers areas for fishing and picnics.
